Boise State storms past Utah State

Makenzie Sullivan had three hits, driving in five runs with a home run and two triples, as Boise State stormed by Utah State in Region 2 action Wednesday by a 10-2 margin.
 
Rebekah Cervantes also had three hits, and pitcher Mackenzie McGill got her first win of the season, scattering four hits and striking out three batters.
 
Victoria Saucedo had two hits for Utah State, and Riley Plogger had a triple, a run scored and an RBI.
 
Boise State will play Weber State on Thursday for the Region 2 title, but will get to play a rematch if Weber State wins the first game in the double-elim format.
